The Houston Symphony’s Wizard of Oz-themed children’s fashion show and family-friendly luncheon included adorable looks by Macy’s, and the popular instrument “petting zoo.” ... The Spirit of Spring event took over the ballroom of the Royal Sonesta hotel, raising $250,000 for the Children’s Assessment Center. The crowd of 450 was moved by the testimony of Rachel Thomas, a survivor of human trafficking.
