Houston’s nightlife scene heats up as Pour Behavior makes its debut in Midtown. Politan Row Houston makes its debut in Rice Village this fall. The mid-century-inspired food hall, which has its original location in Chicago, will showcase craft cocktail bar Bar Politan; bao-bun food-truck fave Breaking Bao; progressive Mexican tacos and ceviche concept Cochinita & Co; and an all-day coffeehouse with boba tea and Indonesian-inspired soft-serve called Susu Kopi & Boba. Montrose hideaway Night Heron — originally launched as a bar-restaurant hybrid — will evolve into more of a neighborhood bistro, adding dishes from its sister restaurant Coltivare and promoting Jonathan Pittman to chef de cuisine. Now open: Los Tios has bowed on San Felipe in the space that formerly housed Ciao Bello.
