Annual CityBook ‘Sexy Issue’ to Arrive Soon, and You Must See the Racy NOLA-Photographed Cover!

THE ANNUAL HOUSTON CityBook “Sexy Issue,” one of the most anticipated editions of the year, will hit newsstands this week, with a cover photographed in an unexpected place.

For the infamous summertime photo shoot, editors chose for the first time ever a popular travel destination as the location. The new Four Seasons and Private Residences New Orleans made for an appropriately steamy backdrop, with its crystal-dripping chandeliers, grand suites with peekaboo showers and cabana-lined pool overlooking the Mighty Mississippi.

New Orleans is, of course, a favorite getaway for Houstonians, and many former Big Easy residents now call Houston home. Many arrived shortly after Hurricane Katrina in 2006 and never left. “NOLA has such close ties to Houston,” remarked CityBook Executive Publisher Lisa Holthouse, “it seems fitting that our first venture out of Houston for a photo shoot is to our sister city that we hold so dear to our hearts.”

The cover features Houston lawyer and model Luke Keogh floating in the Four Seasons pool in Versace loungewear. It was photographed by Jhane Hoang under the direction of CityBook Creative Director Patrick Magee. Styling was by Todd Ramos, with hair and makeup by Edward Sanchez.

“The Sexy Issue is always one of our favorites,” said Editor Jeff Gremillion. “But this time was really special.

“Being from Louisiana originally, it was especially exciting for me to ‘come home’ in a way, with a wonderfully creative and devoted crew — and a cast of beautiful, talented models,” Gremillion added. “The staff at the spectacular new Four Seasons was the consummate host, of course, a tribute to the international brand, and to the very notion of Southern hospitality.”

The 2022 Sexy Issue will arrive on newsstands and in mailboxes all over the Houston area later this week.
