During the madness surrounding Super Bowl month here in Houston, it would be understandable to have missed an exciting opening or two — especially Downtown, where new restaurants popping up near Discovery Green were a dime a dozen.

The Launch pop-up shop — a joint effort by fashion industry pro Sydney Dao and the city’s Houston First Corporation — graced the ground floor of the Houston Partnership Tower on Avenida de las Americas in January and February, attracting locals and visiting football fans alike. And now Launch has reopened with all-new offerings.

With local lines galore on display in an industrial-chic space, Launch sells everything from greeting cards to bowties and high-end handbags. The roster of designers will rotate regularly, with each month bringing a new crop of diverse artisan products. Popular springtime stock includes Onata Fragrances candles, jewelry by Burdlife and Modern Artifacts, Monica Charles’ handmade beauty products, and romantic tops and frocks by Steve Guthrie. 701 Avenida de las Americas, 713.906.9759, @launchtx
