HOUSTON RESTAURANTS ARE seeing pink with drink and food specials and celebrations starting Saturday, June 11, and some lasting all month long. Here are top spots to stop and smell the rosés.
Celebrate National Rosé Day June 11 from 12-3pm with brunch, themed cocktails, food specials, photo moments, raffles, and more. Chef Michael has created a menu of rosé inspired dishes like watermelon-rosé gazpacho, scallop crudo, a giant rosé macaron, and raspberry-rosé sorbet.
Rosé makes a perfect partner for most foods, and Tobiuo’s striking menu is no exception. On June 11 the sushi house will offer its entire rosé selection for $5 a glass, making it easy to try a few for a DIY flight.
Come hungry and thirsty for this luxe three-course rosé pairing dinner June 10-12 ($85) at both the Memorial and River Oaks locations. The menu: East Coast Oyster Duo with ginger-lime mignonette and LK World Rosé 75; tuna mignon with colossal jumbo crab and charred broccolini paired with Maison No 9 Cote-de-Provence; and white-chocolate-lemon mousse with blackberry lavender preserves and Moet & Chandon rosé Champagne.

Postino has launched a generous way to raise a glass (or two) for a good cause at its newest location in Katy at La Centerra. Starting at 4pm on June 11, the Art of Rosé event features $6 glasses of rosé, live artists from Art Museum TX, live music, and a rosé picnic party giveaway for ten people from Picnics in the City. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Brookwood Community. More info here.
Brennan's of Houston
Brennan’s is swinging into summer with a featured frozen rosé and specials on rosé by the glass and bottle through June ($12 or $7 during happy hour). Hot tip: Rosé lovers, save the date for a Fri-yay Rosé Patio Party, July 8.
Mutiny Wine Room
If you want to learn a thing or two about all things rosé, hit a wine room owned by a vintner who crafts his own wine brand in California. Mutiny is celebrating National Wine Day June 11 with a rosé flight and a chef-prepared tasting menu served tableside. Don’t miss the fun!
Loch Bar wants you to rosé all day. A bottle of rosé and its signature charcuterie board with artisanal charcuterie and cheeses always impresses – especially when on special for $25. For something sweeter, its signature Frosé ($14) is made with rosé wine, Wheatley vodka, and strawberry, or check out The Pink Rose ($12), available exclusively on National Rosé Day, crafted with grapefruit vodka, grapefruit juice, and sparkling rosé wine.
Join Ouzo Bay June 11 and uncork a bottle of rosé and trio of house spreads ($25). Choose from hummus with chickpea, tahini, and lemon; tirokafteri with roasted red pepper and feta; and date and goat cheese. The Whole Lotta Rosey cocktail ($18) will be on offer featuring Ottos Athens Vermouth, Gold Apricot Vodka, sparkling rosé, rose water, lemon juice and honey.
Rosé tastes better sipped on a summer patio and new Heights & Co. is putting on the Rosé Spritz ($15) June 11. Made with sparkling rosé, Cappelletti aperitif, pineapple-guava, and Topo Chico, this bubbly pink bev pairs perfectly with the elevated bar bites.
Enjoy rosy-colored sips on the bay in sunny San Leon June 11. Pier 6 will offer special pricing on still and sparkling rosé from Veuve, Ruinart and Chandon, plus rosé magnums. Wear pink for a shot in front of the Instagram-ready Rosé Day installation! Specials available all day.
