MILITARY MOOD Efficaciousness, durability and sleek army green were spotted on this season’s runways.

BOLD COLOR Who says bright shades are reserved for spring and summer? From “Barbiecore” pink to orange and royal blue, pick a hue and do you this fall.

SPORTY SPICE Fashion is upping its game with athletic-themed details big and small, from racing stripes to soccer scarves and motocross gloves.

LEATHER REPORT Worn-in and edgy is this season’s forecast! Biker-style silhouettes are big, but expect slick and supple head-to-toe looks, too.

PUNK PREP Tartan and tweed get a gritty makeover for fall, incorporating chains, studs and knits to achieve the full Y2K effect.

What year was your organization launched? 1938

What is your mission? March of Dimes was founded in 1938 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt as the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, to combat polio. The name “March of Dimes” was suggested by entertainer Eddie Cantor as a way to encourage people to donate even a small amount, like a dime, to help fight polio.
