Here Are the 10 Most Expensive Homes Sold in H-Town in September

722 Friar Tuck Ln.

SAME SONG, DIFFERENT VERSE? Houston's real estate market is still battling low inventory and high prices. The number of active listings for available single-family homes in the month of September was down by more than 17 percent compared to the year prior. Meanwhile, the average list price for homes sold in September came in just under $380K; in September 2020, this figure was just $338,875.

And once again, The Woodlands and Memorial area boast the lion's share of the most expensive homes sold in the area last month. A condo in Briar Hollow and a 1988-built Pearland home also made the list — but notably absent? Any River Oaks mansions. Keep scrolling to check out the great estates!

47 Grand Regency CircleThis 17,000-square-foot home, framed by tall pines and palm trees, sits on a two-acre lot overlooking the Carlton Woods golf course. Perhaps you're already familiar with this house for reasons besides the verdant views: It made national news years ago when thieves robbed the three-story closet and stole luxury handbags, jewelry and more. Owner Theresa Roemer and her husband Lamar had been trying to sell the property for years; most recently, it was listed for $6.5 mil and sold in 82 days.

722 Friar Tuck Ln.It's all in the details! The mantle in the formal living room is an 18th-century import from Bordeaux; street lights from 1800s Barcelona are suspended above the island in the kitchen. Reclaimed wood beams are found in almost every room, and the home is totally solar-powered. The six-bed, nine-bath home, located off Memorial near Silber, was listed for $5.5 million and sold in three months.

11710 Fidelia Ct. Situated on a cul-de-sac in Bunker Hill Village, a new-construction modern manse was listed for $4.37 million and sold in just 71 days. Soaring ceilings, custom finishes and the highest-end kitchen appliances lend a luxurious feel; the primary ensuite bathroom is, unsurprisingly, spa-worthy. And outside, the backyard undoubtedly will host some stellar pool parties.

107 Colonial Row Dr. This picture-perfect Woodlands estate has several unique amenities, like a bar room with a custom, backlit agate-covered bar (and Nugget ice machine!); a Calacatta-covered fireplace in the primary suite; a craft room; and a four-car garage. Listed for $4.5 million and sold within 71 days, the five-bedroom home was completed in 2019.

202 Glennville Ct.Originally designed and constructed as a home-builder's personal residence, this Hunters Creek home boasts solid bones and stunning details from the moment you enter the iron doors and step onto the travertine floors that flow beneath a floating glass-railed staircase. The living area is an entertainer's dream, with a wet bar, wine room, gourmet kitchen and two-story showpiece fireplace. It sold in just 54 days at a list price of $4.25 mil.

9201 Memorial Dr. A unique, 1950-built one-story home on Memorial is set back within the woods on a 1.34-acre property. It underwent a remodel and expansion in the '80s — and newer still are thoughtful amenities like a Tesla charger out front. Located on the corner of Memorial and Buckingham Drive, this six-bed, six-bath was listed at $4.5 million and sold in less than three months.

55 Silver Iris WayHere's another Carlton Woods gem: This 10,000-square-foot home is located on holes 13 and 14, and has five bedrooms and six full and two half baths. Coming in at $3.9 million, it sold in 35 days — likely thanks to the incredible backyard with resort-worthy pool and attached casita, along with a five-car garage with lift capability.

400 Friar Tuck Ln.… And here's yet another in Memorial. This Friar Tuck home is a bit different than its new-construction neighbor, listed above. The century-old trees will provide a beautiful, shady canopy for the grand home that'll be built by the new owners. Sold for lot value and listed at just under $4 million, the nearly 1.2-acre property flew off the market in less than three weeks.

4521 San Felipe St., Unit 3201This Arabella penthouse boasts an open pool deck and views of the Galleria, Downtown and the Med Center. Recalling a five-star hotel in all the best ways, the 5,500-square-feet condo — with two separate elevator entrances — includes a marble-bedecked bathroom with a skyline view. This one sold in about two months, listed for $4.4 million.

30510 Becky LaneA five-acre estate in Magnolia comes complete with an eight-bedroom, 12,500-square-foot manse — the primary suite has a massage room and gym; the media room can seat 30! — and a two-stall, 3,400-square-foot "barndominium." The backyard with pool is a pastoral oasis, overlooking the fenced-in acreage. Listed for $4 million, this property sold in 45 days.
