Sleek New Designer Penthouse on Westheimer Hits Market for $8.99 Mil

A SEXY CONDO a rep for its listing agent is calling Houston's most expensive new penthouse has just hit the market.

The River Oaks high-rise's Penthouse Two West, which combines 6,200 square feet of interior space with more than 2,200 feet of terraces and balconies, comes furnished for an asking price of $8.99 million. It boasts "14-foot ceilings, four bedrooms, four full-baths, plus a half bath and floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views," gushes the rep for Douglas Elliman's Rosie Meyers and Adriana Banks.

Houston-based, internationally in-demand interior designer Lauren Rottet is responsible for the décor, which boasts an updated midcentury vibe. A mostly neutral palate lets the sprawling panoramic views provide the color.

The River Oaks on Westheimer in recent years undertook a massive renovation and expansion and now markets itself as a white-glove property with posh concierge service for residents, in the heart of Houston's most desirable neighborhood — just minutes from the best shopping and restaurants in town.

Every step along the way, I faced obstacles, but I approached each one with determination and a “never give up” mindset. I also learned not to take “no” as a final answer. Instead, I saw it as a chance to push harder, adapt, and find another way forward. It’s this combination of persistence, resilience, and unwavering focus that has brought me to where I am today.
