MFAH Unveils New Displays for European Arts — Including Several Never-Before-Seen Pieces

THIS WEEK, THE MUSEUM of Fine Arts, Houston unveiled a reimagined showcase for its European art collection. The 11 galleries feature works from the Middle Ages up through the 18th century, and now include new acquisitions and rarely displayed pieces from the museum’s permanent collections.

PrintHouston Is Back — This Time with Fun Hands-On Workshops

TO COINCIDE WITH PrintHouston 2022, a month-long celebration of printmaking coordinated by PrintMatters Houston, the Heights-based printmaking studio Burning Bones Press is hosting The Matrix, a series of Wednesday-night workshops where the general public is invited to learn more about the art of printmaking.

Both locations of The Pit Room are open today, July 9.
