The U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship tennis tournament annually welcomes some of Houston’s most fashionable femmes — but not just to the grandstands. A fashion show and luncheon always kicks off the weekend in style. This year, delightful spring weather contributed to a successful showcase of seasonal looks by Tootsies, which has partnered with the tournament for three decades. Models — donning flowy fashions by Naeem Khan, Valentino and more — worked a runway that jutted out over the pool, and also walked through a crowd of 650.

IT WAS AN evening of style, flavor and celebration as guests filled Caracol for Houston Ballet’s signature spring event, Raising the Barre.
