A RAD PARTY at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston raised half a mil for its Glassell School. The highlight of the MTV-themed bash was an auction of works by Glassell alumni, which were on display among the tie-dye décor in the mod new building.

Founded in 1990, the festival is combination of intensive educational residencies and public performances, where young classically trained musicians have the opportunity to hone their skills and prepare for a career in making music. This year’s showcase kicks off Tuesday, June 7.
